Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Torrance, California.
The assignment is on TCU, described as REHAB/SUB ACUTE.
TCU is a distinct part of the facility’s sub acute care with an 87-bed capacity and a rehabilitation focus.
The unit is a Skilled Nursing facility with an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 8:1.
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 23:00–7:30.
Hours: 36 per week.
Start date: ASAP.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Transitional Care Unit (1 year of experience)
Transitional Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Skilled Nursing experience

Additional Details

On-call requirement: Pending.
Float requirement: Pending.
Block scheduling: Not accommodated.
RTO must be included at time of submission; approval depends on facility needs.
Guaranteed hours: facility may call off once per two-week pay period.
Parking: Free parking.
