Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Hinton, West Virginia
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Adults, with potential for pediatric patients
• Float required within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted
• Medical and religious exemptions may be approved case by case
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in West Virginia
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Required Documents and Compliance

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID
• Physical exam or physician note/statement within 1 year of start, signed by an MD, DO, PA, or NP, stating clear to work and free of restrictions
• Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; positive TB requires chest X-ray within the last 5 years and a TB questionnaire
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap valid for 10 years; Td is not accepted
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• 2 references within 1 year of start
• 7-year work history verification

• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam within 1 year prior to start, renewed annually
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III
• National certification verification, as applicable by profession and state
• Background checks and verifications required prior to start, including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG
• Education verification
• Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption submission during flu season
• OSHA respirator medical evaluation and TB risk assessment documentation
• Fit mask completion onsite
