Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Lebanon, Indiana
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00-17:30
• Call required: minimum 1 weekend per month and 1 weekday per week
• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs, but only to task, not to take an assignment
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted if they live within 50 miles of the hospital

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with C-section (cesarean section) cases
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• Orthopedics experience
• Background check required
• Transcript/diploma required
• Color blind testing required
• Competency exam required
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Fit test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and drug screening documentation required
• 2 references required
• Skills checklist required annually
