Job Overview

• Call: One night per week and one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NBSTSA

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Scrubs are provided.

Start-Ready Documentation and Screening

• Current and valid government photo ID, driver’s license/state ID, or passport
• Proof of name change, if applicable
• 7-year background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Education verification
• References: 2 required, including a direct supervisor reference within the last year
• Current employment application with 7 years of employment history and explanation for gaps over 30 days
• Application missing information tracking form
• Skills checklist, as applicable
• Work history verification preferred for the last 5 years

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation
• Fit testing for a mask
• Physical exam within 1 year of start

• Onsite fit testing requires a signed OSHA form
• Additional compliance items may be required within 30 days of start
