Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Seattle, Washington
- 18-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Required to work all scheduled shifts
- Floating within scope is required
- Every other weekend required
- Local candidates accepted
- First-time travelers are not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
- Stroke experience
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Experience with Epic
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Ratios: 1:4–5
- Block scheduling is not available
- On-call is not required
- Holiday coverage includes working 2 holidays; no Christmas RTO
- Travelers can have 1 of 3 major holidays off
Clinical Environment
- Magnet, teaching, Level I trauma facility
- Acute care float pool covers acute care and telemetry units
- Epic charting is used
- Any solid color scrubs are allowed; light blue scrubs are also provided on unit
Additional Notes
- Orientation includes pass/fail testing
- A badge photo is required
- Parking is available at an additional cost
