Work Schedule

• Day shift, Monday to Friday
• 8 hours per day (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week

Job Description

• Provide occupational therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NBCOT certification

Certifications (as applicable)

• ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, ENPC, NIH Stroke Certification (refer to job-specific requirements)
• National technical certification verification within 30 days of start

Competencies

• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Color blindness test (online Ishihara acceptable)
• Pass/fail testing may be required depending on department

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references within the last 3 years
• Resume or employment application copy
• Annual updates for background checks, certifications, and competencies as required
• Facility-specific orientation modules (~3-4 hours) and safety manual acknowledgment
• Compliance with facility policies including confidentiality, corporate compliance, and patient-centered pledges

Start Date

• Near the end of June or as close to this date as possible

This position supports a diverse patient population across multiple care settings and requires full compliance with state and facility credentialing, health, and safety standards.
