Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Work in a High Risk Obstetrics Unit
- Day shift: 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Call as needed
- Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed
- Weekend shifts as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including experience within the last year
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Intermediate
- FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
Required Licenses
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Louisiana
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
