Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Work in a High Risk Obstetrics Unit
  • Day shift: 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  • Call as needed
  • Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed
  • Weekend shifts as needed

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including experience within the last year
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)

Required Licenses

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Louisiana

Education

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
