Registered Nurse – CCU (Critical Care Unit)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) with a focus on patients requiring advanced monitoring and support.
Experience with ventilators, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring is required.
Position available to start as soon as possible.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
Minimum 2 years of Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience with ventilators (vents), intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.
