Overview

• Location: Auburn, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• Weekly hours: 36
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating: Required to float to similar acuity units within LPN/LVN scope of practice

Role Details

• Specialty: Critical Care Step Down / PCU
• Patient ratio: 1:4–5, based on unit census and acuity
• First-time travelers: Accepted with 3+ years of experience
• Local candidates: Accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in New York
• Case Management (1 year of experience)
• Case Management experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• 1-2 years of recent Critical Care Step Down or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cardiac telemetry and continuous monitoring
