Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Minneapolis, Minnesota
12-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
First-time travelers not accepted
Local candidates not accepted within a 100-mile radius
Pending license accepted

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Minnesota
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Experience

Open heart recovery directly from the OR
ECMO
CRRT with Prismaflex

Clinical Setting and Responsibilities

Float within the ICU community, including CVICU, Med/Surg ICU, and Neuro ICU
Ratios: 1:2
Expected to work in a short-term acute care, Magnet, teaching, Level III trauma hospital
Core clinical needs include hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, targeted temperature management, bedside trachs and PEGs, glucose monitoring with Endotool, temporary pacemakers, HeartMate 2 & 3, Centra Mag, Impella, and balloon pump support

Additional Notes

Navy blue scrubs
On-site parking is available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
Excellian/Epic charting system used
