Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

• Contract length: 8 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency contact form completed prior to start
• Background checks within 1 year of start, including:

  • Social Security trace and county searches for the last 7 years
  • Nationwide and sex offender registry checks
  • Massachusetts iCORI clearance (state-mandated)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (annual)
  • Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search (for travelers in MA)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year or chest x-ray within past 5 years with annual TB questionnaire
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccine, or history of chickenpox)
• Drug screening:

  • Negative 9 or 10 panel drug test within 1 year of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (August - April)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
• Two professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)

Additional Notes

• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• National technical certification as applicable should be uploaded
• Competency exams required annually as applicable by profession
• Skills checklist required annually
