Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in Onc Pod Emergency Department
- 12-hour Day/Night or Night shifts (floating required)
- Shift assignments rotate every 4 weeks and may include nights or mixed shifts based on department needs
- Patient ratio: 1:4
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Must have 1 year of prior travel nursing experience (travel experience required)
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
Required Certifications
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Required Skills
- Proficient in IV starts
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- One year or more of total travel nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Proficient in IV starts
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
