Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care floating to all care areas for medical-surgical patients.
Work every other weekend is required.
EPIC electronic health record system experience required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri.
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Work Schedule & Environment

Every other weekend required.
Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Floating to all care areas to care for medical-surgical patients.
Onsite parking available at no cost.

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are welcome to apply; prior travel experience is not required.
Candidates must complete all required background checks and verifications prior to start.
Facility-specific orientation checklists and training modules must be completed as assigned.
Some units may require additional competency exams (e.g., Dysrhythmia/EKG competency for ICU/Step Down units).
