Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (1800-0630)
• Weekend Shifts: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Patient Ratio Experience Required: 1:12-16
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (1st time travelers are welcome)
• Uniform: Scrubs of any color allowed
• Return to Office Limit: 2 requests per contract

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only (RQI acceptable)
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NIH Stroke Certification)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for at least 1 year

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references within the last 3 years
• Verification of most recent employment
• Skills checklist and employment application required
• Missouri state-specific background search within 30 days of start
