Job Description

  • Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Completion of a Nurse Residency Program required if a new graduate.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care.
  • Proficient in computer applications and effective interpersonal communication.
  • Knowledge of nursing process including social, behavioral, biological, and physical sciences, and current healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications

  • BSN degree.
  • New York State RN licensure (active and in good standing).
  • BLS certification (AHA Primary Source Verified).
  • PALS certification (AHA Primary Source Verified).
  • Completion of Nurse Residency Program if newly graduated.
