Position Details
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: No
- Floating: May float within scope depending on experience

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant patients
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience
Schedule & Work Conditions
- Holiday rotation included
- Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
- Radius rule: 60 miles
- Locals may be accepted on a case-by-case basis

Required Documentation & Compliance
- Proof of work eligibility (I-9)
- Copy of Driver’s License/State ID
- Social Security Card or SSN verification
- Background checks including criminal, sex offender registry, and employment verification for the past 7 years
- Education verification or diploma/transcripts as placeholder
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
- Annual TB test or chest X-ray (T-spot or Q-Gold within 90 days)
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination form)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccination series)
- Varicella (positive titer or vaccination series)
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
- Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID vaccination highly preferred; declination form required if not vaccinated
- Fit test for N95 mask within 90 days prior to start, renewed annually
- Color blindness test required prior to start
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required
- Competency exam required
- Clear, passport-style photo for badge (frontal view, business casual attire)
- Radiation badge may be required depending on unit assignment
Certifications & Competencies
- ACLS certification is not required for pediatric units
- BLS certification required for all clinical candidates
- PALS required for all pediatric units except Pediatric OR (preferred for Pediatric OR)
- NRP certification must be through AHA/AAP with full eCard and QR code
- TNCC not required for ER RNs
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) not applicable for this role
Additional Requirements
- Physical exam updated annually attesting ability to meet job demands
- Sterile Processing Techs have additional specific requirements (not applicable for this role)
- References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Employment application must include all PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
- Work history verification of last 3 clinical employers required
