Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have 2 years of experience in CT.
- Required to float to General Diagnostic to assist with x-rays when no CT exams are scheduled, including portables and other duties as needed.
- Shift schedule includes two 8-hour night shifts during the week and two 12-hour night shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
- Weekend work required every weekend.
- No on-call duties.
- Start dates available: 4/13 or 4/27.
- Uniform: Caribbean blue scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT (Computed Tomography) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Must be comfortable with shift work.
Required Documents & Compliance
- Criminal background check within 1 year prior to start, including SSN trace, 7-year county and nationwide criminal searches, national sex offender registry, and FACIS level 3.
- Education verification: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required. For Associate degree or higher, transcript or primary source verification must list field of study in Chemical, Physical, Biological Science, or Medical Lab Technology (Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology qualify).
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start stating “may work without restrictions” (Concentra form or equivalent accepted).
- Fit testing for N95 mask (3M 1870+ or approved alternatives) within 12 months prior to start.
- Immunizations and health requirements:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if past positive)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella immunity (IgG titer or two doses of MMR vaccine)
- Hepatitis B immunity or declination form
- Varicella immunity (IgG titer or two doses of vaccine)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination form (masking required if declined)
- Drug testing within 1 year prior to start (9-panel minimum).
- Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required prior to start (candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending).
- Employment application required.
Additional Notes
- Candidate must be willing to complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Questionnaire immediately after signing the contract to initiate fingerprinting.
- Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration.
- Candidate may need to travel to a location offering livescan fingerprinting if not available locally.
- This position requires weekend night shifts and floating between CT and general diagnostic radiology.
