Schedule

• Day shift, 5 days a week (5x8 hours)
• Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Valid LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker license in Washington
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker, with experience within the last year
• Master of Social Work degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Certifications Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
• Washington State Social Worker license

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Education verification required
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccination documentation preferred (declinations accepted)
• Respirator medical clearance required annually for travel candidates
• Fit mask testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)
• References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for gaps or overlaps

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility and specialty-specific Workramp training modules annually, including:

  • Regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific modules for Social Services
  • Basics of Trauma Informed Care
• Float policy acknowledgment required (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
• Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
• Compliance with Washington State Patrol background searches and other state-specific requirements

Notes

• Guaranteed minimum of 72 hours per 2-week pay period
• Pending license not accepted; must have active WA license at start
• This position requires flexibility to work across multiple hospital units and campuses within a short distance
