Role Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina.
- ACE Unit-Acute Care for the Elderly.
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
- 36 hours per week.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina.
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience).
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- IV starts.
- Blood product administration.
- Central/peripheral/PICC line management.
- Dysrhythmia interpretation & management.
- Remote telemetry monitoring.
- Heparin protocols.
- Proficient in geriatric-focused care.
- Experience with Epic.
Unit Details
- ACE Unit has 26 beds.
- Patient population is hospitalized patients aged 65 and older.
- Ratio: 1:5.
- Floating may be required to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where the nurse is qualified and documented competent.
