Pediatric PACU

Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in San Diego, California.
Start date: November 9 only.
PACU or PICU RNs are accepted for this role.
Unit: PACU, 38 beds.

Schedule

4x10-hour day shifts.
Variable start times: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, or earlier depending on department need.
Weekend availability is required.
On-call/standby may be required based on department needs, including 1 call shift per weeknight or 1 call shift every other weekend as needed, plus 1 holiday call as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care (1 year of experience) within the last year.
1 year or more of total travel experience.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience in a hospital setting.
Airway management.
Ventilator management.
Extubation.
Critical Care experience.

Preferred Qualifications

None stated.

Work Expectations

No floating within scope to meet facility needs.
No floating to sister facilities.
No block schedule accommodation.
Locals are not accepted.
RTO limit: 6 days maximum.
