Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• 3 nights per week and every 3rd weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
• Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

• 2 supervisory references from the specialty, with at least one within the last year and the second within the last 2 years
• Unit-specific skills checklist, including any units the traveler may float to
• 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
• Annual physical or statement of health within 1 year of assignment start
• Fit test within 12 months
• TB screening within 90 days of start
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and Tdap
• Mandatory reporter training for child abuse and dependent adult abuse
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption status on file during flu season
• Background checks and verifications required within 30 days of start, including education verification, work history verification, and state-specific background screening
