Role Overview
- Registered Nurse travel/contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio.
- Based in a lower-acuity cardiac PCU caring for heart failure patients.
- The role is in 6 ROSS/Heart Failure & Post Transplant and notes cardiac ICU experience as preferred.
Schedule
- 3x12s, nights, rotating days/nights.
- Weekdays with some weekends.
- Rotating holidays.
- No call.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- IV insertion skills.
- Experience with Epic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac ICU experience.
- Previous travel experience.
Additional Details
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- Estimated patient ratio: 1:3.
