Job Description

• Shift: Night
• On-Call: Travelers are not required to pick up on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
• Experience: Emergency and/or critical care experience preferred

Additional Requirements

Certifications

• ACLS: Required for Med Surg, Surgery, OR, ICU, ER, L&D, and RRT.
• BLS: Required for all RNs and RRT.
• PALS: Required for Peds, Surgery, PACU, ER, and RRT; preferred for OR.
• NRP: Required for L&D and RRT.
• TNCC: As required.
• EFM: Required for Labor and Delivery RNs.
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required for ICU and Tele; preferred for ER.

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Initial physical required.
• Fit Mask: N95 mask required.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap vaccine required.
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray required within 1 year of start.
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations or titers required.
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen required within the last 12 months.
  • Influenza vaccination strongly encouraged during flu season.
  • COVID-19 vaccination documentation preferred but not mandatory.

Background and History Checks

• Background Check: 7-year criminal check required.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM: Required within 30 days of start.
• HHS/OIG: Required within 30 days of start.
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references required.

Documentation

• Employment Application: Complete application/resume required.
• Education Verification: Required; transcript/diploma acceptable.
• Fingerprinting: Required as part of background check.
