Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36/48 hours, every other weekend, no call, floating to other units as needed.

Job Description

Travelers do not administer chemotherapy.
General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs.
16 hours of non-billable orientation included.
Hospital can cancel one shift biweekly without financial penalty if there is a decrease in census.

Requirements

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year

Additional Responsibilities

Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education.

Compliance and Documentation

Health Documents:
- Physical Exam (within 1 year)
- Drug Testing (standard 9 panel within 14 days of start)
- Vaccination documentation (e.g., Flu, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella)
- Background check (within 30 days of start)
Facility Specific Documents:
- Staff Info Form
- Dress Code
- Smoking and Tobacco Use Policy
- Influenza Policy
- Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaire

Notes

All travelers must complete compliance documents by the deadline to start on the designated Sunday.
