Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend (EOW)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic, OBix, and communication tools like Voalte and Hugs is expected.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan.
Minimum of 1 year of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, with recent experience within the last year.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Current Tdap vaccination.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Professional Requirements

Submission of a current resume and skills checklist within the past year.
Two professional references.
Completion and submission of various background checks including:
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check (last 7 years).
- Social Security Number verification.
- Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED).
- Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG).
- National Sex Offender Registry check.
Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, integrity and audit services agreements.
Completion of CORE exam within the past year.
System access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
Respirator evaluation form signed by a physician.
