Pediatric ICU Nurse - Austin, Texas

Job Details

Specialty: RN PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
Work Environment:
- High acuity, fast-paced 24-bed PICU
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Exposure to neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU patients
- Floating to CVICU and NICU as needed
- Pediatric-focused unit with Navy scrubs and pediatric print tops allowed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid Driver's License
