Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs in an inpatient acute setting.

  • Performs initial and ongoing assessments of the patient’s condition
  • Establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care involving the patient and family
  • Performs therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and skills
  • Oversees physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel
  • Uses Standard Precautions and personal protective equipment as required
