Registered Respiratory Therapist

Overview

13-week assignment in West Burlington, Iowa
12-hour shifts, 18:00 - 06:30
Every other weekend required
On call required once every scheduling period
May cover other shifts as needed
Provides respiratory care across Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Some peds experience

Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders
Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities
Supervise respiratory care students
Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures
Maintain patient records
Select, assemble, check, and operate equipment
