Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Summary

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with at least 5 years of experience in a high-volume Operating Room setting, specifically with C-arm and O-arm equipment.


Required Credentials & Certifications

  • BLS Certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
  • ARRT Certification
  • Professional License: Primary source verification required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
  • Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually.
  • MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions.
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Criminal Background Checks: Including Massachusetts CORI, national sex offender check, exclusion checks, and SSN trace.
  • Resume: Past 7 years of work experience with city & state details.
  • References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above in the skillset.
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required upon acceptance and for extensions.
  • Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through background check.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.

Preferred / Optional

  • Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity Proof (Strongly preferred)
  • Tdap Vaccination: Within 10 years, preferred
  • Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: If applicable
  • TB Symptom Survey: If positive PPD, completed prior to start and updated annually

Additional Notes

  • No religious exemptions for fit testing or influenza vaccine.
  • Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
  • Background checks and verifications must be current and updated as required.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of specialty experience in Radiologic Technology with high-volume OR C-arm and O-arm use.
  • No explicit requirement for prior travel experience indicated.

This position is ideal for experienced X-Ray Technologists comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment with advanced imaging equipment.
