Burns/Surgical ICU RN

Overview

  • Role: RN ICU
  • Unit: Ellison 14 ICU
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Rotating

Role context

  • The unit cares for adult complex surgical patients, including burns, and acutely ill medical patients.
  • It is a closed ICU model.
  • Thermal burns are currently a minority of patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or CHSF or Military
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Burn ICU experience
