Radiology Technician (IR Tech) - Day Shift
Location: Traverse City, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform interventional radiology procedures with experience in angiography and neuro procedures.
- Assist providers during procedures and prepare sterile fluids.
- Experience with Siemens Biplane imaging equipment is helpful.
- Work schedule: Day shift, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week.
- No weekend shifts required.
- One holiday off depending on contract length.
- On-call requirement: One night per week and one weekend every 3rd to 5th weekend, depending on staffing.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a radiology program.
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid at start date.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Driver's License.
- Experience with angiography procedures.
- Experience with neuroradiology procedures.
- Experience with sterile fluid preparation.
