Overview

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
Associate's degree in Radiology

Role Summary

Executes computed tomography images.
Collects patient histories and prepares records.
Assists radiologist with invasive procedures.
Administers contrast media under physician direction and department policy.
Verifies patient identity and orders, monitors patients during exams, and uses radiation protection.
Maintains quality control, orders and restocks supplies, reports equipment issues, and supports patient transport when needed.
Uses EPIC and EI systems to complete studies and create new studies.
