Overview

Travel RN role in cardiac progressive care/telemetry
Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Contract length: 8 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
Weekend/holiday schedule: every other weekend and holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Tele strip interpretation
Ability to initiate and titrate cardiac drips
Care for post cath (femoral and radial) patients
Care for CP and MI patients
Experience with Epic

Clinical Requirements

Will float within cardiac progressive care/telemetry inpatient areas
May be assigned as an aide if assistance is needed

Additional Details

No blocked schedule requests
COVID vaccination required unless a medical or religious declination is accepted; if declined, weekly testing is required at traveler/agency expense
Hepatitis B vaccination required with no declination allowed
