Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Location: Ironwood, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: ICU
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float Requirements: May float to Medical-Surgical (MS) unit if needed
• On Call/Call Back: Possible low census on-call with minimum 2-hour callback; on-call hours count toward 36 unbillable low census hours
• Patient Ratio: ICU Unit 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Michigan RN license
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience (Medical-Surgical experience highly preferred)
• Charting System: EPIC experience required
• Other:

  • Must be able to manage independently, work resiliently, and adapt to change
  • Social and proactive in completing tasks timely
• Radius Rule: Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Additional Information

• Scrub colors: Any color allowed
• GSA not applicable during orientation week
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Call back pay available if called back to the facility during on-call hours
