Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
Shift Length: 11.5 hours
Hours per Week: 34 (choice)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity
Dress Code: Navy bottom + white top with dark shoes, or all white with white shoes

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license for New York State
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
2 years of experience in ER specialty within the last 3 years
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical exemption
Experience in a large academic (teaching) hospital setting
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Skills checklist matching the required skill set for the position
Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset

Additional Notes

Local NYC travelers may be considered upon review and approval
No call requirement
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
