Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse, ICU (Compact License Accepted)
Certifications Required: BLS
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU nursing
Prior Travel Experience: Required (indicated by "Travel experience")
Float Assignment: Nurse will float between multiple hospitals within the region (ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, Edgecombe)
Patient Ratios:
- ICU: 1:2
- Intermediate Care: 1:4-5
- General Care: 1:5-7 (up to 1:5-8 in community hospitals)
Facility Level: Level 1 Trauma Center

Additional Notes

Nurses receive shift assignment notifications early on the day of the shift to allow travel planning between facilities (some up to 40 minutes apart).
Floating may include all inpatient units at skill level and below.
