Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Location: Minot, North Dakota

Schedule: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in North Dakota
• Strongly preferred: Minimum 2 years of previous experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Recent travel experience required
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius (locals not accepted)
• Submission must include resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensure (Full NURSYS report if RN)

Key Competencies

• Documentation specific to Home Health
• Understanding of regulations related to Home Health
• Accuracy with OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set)
• Competency in drug medication review when acting as the sole discipline in the home

Job Duties

• Provide rehabilitative services to home health and hospice patients
• Perform treatment, rehabilitation, and safety-related skills for home health patients
• Provide maintenance, education, and safety support for hospice patients and families
• Plan coordinated therapy services for individuals and families under care
• Assess individual and family health needs and potential hazards
• Work under supervision to evaluate, plan, implement, supervise, and document patient care
• Focus on geriatric population within Home Health/Hospice settings
• Deliver care according to established standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines
