Physical Therapist (Travel)

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift:

  • Days, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • One Saturday per month onsite
• Work Setting: Inpatient and outpatient clinic (more urgent need for inpatient)
• EMR System: MedHost
• Scrub Color: Any
• On Call: No
• 48-hour Guarantee: No
• Block Scheduling: No

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy settings
• BLS certification required
• Fingerprints required for all travelers in New Mexico

Role Overview

Physical Therapists help patients reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and prevent disability. They develop individualized treatment plans to promote movement, restore function, and support long-term health benefits. PTs work in various settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics, focusing on both treatment and wellness programs to maintain or improve patient mobility.
