Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgical Services in the Operating Room (OR) with a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position involves varied day shifts with call requirements and weekend coverage on an every-other/as-needed basis. The role serves patients of all ages with a 1:1 patient ratio.

Unit Information

• Department: Operating Room (Surgical Services)
• Number of Beds: 22
• Patient Population: All ages
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: EPIC
• Shift: Days, varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11, and weekend daylight shifts
• Call: Required 1-2 times per week, 8-hour increments
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend/as needed
• Float: As needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)

Preferred Experience

• Charge nurse experience for RNs
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Robotic surgery experience
