Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Position

• Float Requirements: Postpartum/Well Baby Nursery

Unit Information

• Beds: 4 labor rooms, 9 postpartum, 4 NICU beds
• Patient Ratios: 3:1 in NICU
• Equipment: CPAP, Ventilator, UVC, IV
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): Meditech and OB Tracevue
• Patient Population: Laboring/postpartum mothers and newborns

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience at level 2 or higher
• NICU experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE (must have prior to start)
• Postpartum/Well Baby Nursery experience (required for floating)

• Respiratory distress
• Hypoglycemia

Additional Information

• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Scrub attire: solid colors only, no prints
• No call requirements
