Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• 2 years of ER experience
• 2 years of core experience in the specialty being submitted to
• Level I Trauma experience
• Teaching experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Must have been gone from CommonSpirit for 12 months as perm staff to be considered for a travel assignment
• Must pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to acceptance
• Must have their own vehicle
• Must be able to read strips

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC
• ATCN

Schedule Requirements

• 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holidays as needed

Float Scope

• May float between St. Joseph's Main, St. Joseph's Westgate, AZ General Laveen, and the 2 Free Standing ERs in Litchfield Park and Glendale
• May be floated midshift

Additional Notes

• Weekly orientations are on Mondays, except during holiday weeks
• No facial piercings
• Natural hair colors only
• Men must be clean shaven for fit test
• Travelers may be expected to have nursing students
• ED uses Phillips monitors and nurses must be able to read strips
• ED patients include trauma, burns, and pediatric transfers out
• 30–40 psych holds are noted
