CT Tech

Overview

Travel assignment in Glendale, Arizona
13-week contract
Night shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Primary focus is ER CT scans
May be the only CT/XR tech in house at times

Required Qualifications

3 years of CT experience
Active BLS
National registry
AZ license
Must be willing to do X-ray or re-learn X-ray

Preferred Qualifications

Multi-modality tech with both XRay and CT Tech certification

Work Details

10–15 cases per day
Uses Phillips 64 slice
May cover X-ray as well
No floating outside of the hospital
Floor orientation includes 1–2 shifts with a preceptor

Clinical Notes

Performs angio studies and basic CT scans
No perfusion or cardiac studies
Rare biopsy procedures
Expected to be autonomous and confident in skill
