Job Overview
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in general radiology, fluoroscopy, and operating in OR settings. The role involves rotating coverage across multiple imaging areas including outpatient clinics, inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy, ER, CCU, and OR rooms.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Environment & Schedule
- Multiple imaging rooms: 10 x-ray rooms and 34 OR rooms
- Coverage includes General Radiology (x-ray), outpatient clinics, fluoroscopy, ER, CCU, and OR
- Weekly rotation between areas; may need to float to cover different departments
- Shifts start between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Typical shifts are 8 hours; 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) may be available
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call work as needed
- Scrubs provided for OR work (navy, gray, or mix); casual clothes required when arriving to change
Job Duties
- Perform general x-rays, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and OR imaging
- Operate O-arm and C-arm equipment in fluoroscopy and OR settings
- Average daily workload: ~73 general x-rays, 10 fluoroscopy exams, 6-7 OR scans with C-arm
Equipment & Systems
- Imaging equipment: Philips digital x-ray rooms (mostly DR, some CR), GE DR portable machines, Ziehm and GE/OEC C-arms, Siemens O-arms
- EMR/PACS: Cerner Power Chart, GE Centricity RIS, Philips Intellispace PACS
Required Qualifications
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license at time of application
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience covering all areas including fluoroscopy and OR
- ER experience preferred
- Agency must provide a Radiation Badge for the traveler
Additional Information
- Parking is not reimbursed; garage parking and public transit options available
- Orientation includes organizational modules and a 1-week rotation through different imaging areas
- No use of RRA (Radiology Review Assistants)
- Radiologist available on-site
