Required Qualifications

Active BLS
Active ACLS
California RN license
2+ years of ICU experience
Experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics
Trauma experience
Must be able to interpret strips
Must be able to titrate vasopressors and sedation

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Previous travel experience

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
First to float

Float Scope

May float to PCU, CICU, telemetry, or med-surg units

Intensivist in house 24/7
RT assigned to ICU 24/7
Hamilton vents in use
Navy scrubs
1-day unit orientation

Great hospital. Kind and friendly staff.

Cons

The cafeteria is a hit and miss. Some days they have great sea food with saffron rice! Some days microwaved food :D. But there is alwaaaaays, pizza available ;)
