Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: Salinas, California
Setting: Skilled nursing facility
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Flex schedule, Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
Hours per Week: 38
Role Summary
Provide patient-centered occupational therapy care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, with a focus on improving functional independence for short-term and long-term residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans
- Communicate with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Complete documentation per facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California
- BLS
Preferred Experience
- Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Mentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of experience
