Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Provide professional nursing care in a cardiology clinic setting, including patient care, patient education, and coordination with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
  • Cardiology experience within the last year
  • 1 year of cardiology experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association

Experience

  • One year of nursing experience preferred

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Practical nursing principles and skills for patient care and treatment
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions
  • Office procedures and medical terminology
  • Basic ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
  • Clear communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to remain calm in emergencies and make quick, effective decisions
  • Ability to administer medications and treatments and use examination/treatment equipment
