Sterile Processing Supervisor

Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Supervises and coordinates sterile processing department operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with surgical services and other departments.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
CRCST
BLS
Experience in Supervisor roles
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Sterile Processing Technician experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current CIS: Certified Instrument Specialist
2 years of healthcare experience in Surgical Services and/or Sterile Processing

Additional Requirements

Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility
Regular and sustained attendance required
May require weekends, after-hours shifts, and on-call work
Must be able to work varied shifts

Work Environment

Busy, stressful environment
Exposure may include bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, and radiation
Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and other routine movement and fine motor tasks
