Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient Medical Imaging

Job Overview

  • Location: Chico, California
  • Employment type: Contract
  • Schedule: 8-hour day shift, starting at 8:00am; may be scheduled on weekends
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

  • Positions chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle for x-ray
  • Performs imaging procedures without direct supervision
  • Operates X-ray equipment
  • Processes images and documents in PACS
  • Provides basic patient care under supervision of the clinic nurse
  • May float to Main Radiology as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
  • Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • California Fluoroscopy Permit
  • ARRT
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

  • Previous traveler experience preferred
  • The agency must employ staff as W-2 employees
