Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (LDR RN) - Nights
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, either directly or indirectly, following the hospital’s patient care philosophy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years job-related experience in nursing (highest required years of experience)
- Licensure:
- Current Rhode Island RN license required and must be maintained
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC acceptable
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification preferred
- Skills:
- EPIC electronic medical record experience is mandatory
- Additional Requirements:
- Must complete fingerprinting in Rhode Island within 30 days of start
- Completion of various competency exams and skills checklists specific to the facility
- Proof of immunizations and health screenings including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing
- Fit testing for N95 masks within one year prior to start
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- Background checks including federal, county, national, and statewide with OIG, NSO, GSA/SAM searches within 6 months of start
- Submission of professional references (minimum one supervisory) and employment verification for the last 5 years
- Completion of confidentiality agreements and orientation packets prior to start

- 36 hours per week, night shift
