Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Flexible, 36 hours per week
Home Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR)

Job Description

Provide patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with families, following professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation in the Labor and Delivery setting.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Rhode Island
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP), including experience within the last year
Experience in Labor & Delivery (LDR) or Antepartum nursing
Fetal monitoring experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree

Additional Information

No contract extensions available
Must complete all required onboarding documentation and health screenings prior to start
Must comply with all occupational health and safety requirements, including annual flu vaccination and TB screening
Driver’s license or state ID required for onboarding

This is a flexible schedule position with a set number of hours per week and no variations allowed.
